Description

Design, program, test, and commission PLC-based control systems for the shipping industry. Create system and software architecture in CODESYS, develop standardized function blocks, clarify interfaces with external systems, and maintain/update existing libraries and blocks. Execute module and integration tests and produce technical documentation, while automating parts of the build process with scripts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

• Experience with PLC programming (IEC 61131-3)

• Experience with PLC visualization (e.g., CODESYS, TwinCAT, Automation Studio, Siemens S7)

• Systematic and careful way of working

• Ability to collaborate closely in a team while also working independently and sharing knowledge
