Description

You will take responsibility for the successful implementation of demanding software projects in interdisciplinary teams. The role spans areas such as backend, frontend, DevOps, or AI engineering depending on project context, with a strong focus on designing long-lived, maintainable architectures and delivering value iteratively.

You will work in agile cycles (daily scrums, reviews, retrospectives) and apply DevOps practices while also using AI-assisted development tools responsibly (e.g., Claude Code, OpenCode, GitHub Copilot) to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver high-quality software solutions in collaboration with software engineers, UI/UX experts, agile coaches, and product owners

• Conceptualize complex, versatile software projects with the team and implement them with customers

• Execute agile software development: daily scrums, customer reviews, and retrospectives with agile coaches

• Design and implement durable software architectures iteratively and incrementally

• Apply DevOps methods to bring value to end users quickly and gather feedback

• Introduce new and stable technologies where appropriate

• Contribute actively in self-organized project teams

Requirements

• ~5 years of practical experience in software development

• Strong sense of responsibility for successful delivery of challenging software projects

• Very good German and English skills (at least C1)

• Ability to explain complex technical topics clearly to teams, customers, and partners

• Experience with AI for software engineering and responsible use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, OpenCode, GitHub Copilot)

• Strong architecture and system thinking; ability to evaluate decisions for maintainability, operations, and cost

• Deep understanding of high-quality code and fast onboarding to existing codebases
