Business Systems Analyst (Supply Chain)

Description

Partner with business stakeholders, the Product Manager, and the Development Team to understand operational systems and improve processes while ensuring business requirements are met. Own projects from requirements gathering through implementation, and review tools/technologies to improve performance, reduce costs, and manage deliverables. Drive solution adoption using change management, communication, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Understand business models and strategic direction to assess, recommend, and implement business improvements and initiatives.
• Drive discussions on business processes and initiatives.
• Define and document processes, procedures, and data flows of business systems; configure system settings and options.
• Systems expert for Order Management and Warehouse Management systems; support end users, including 3rd-party integrated systems and BI solutions.
• Subject matter expert for systems and processes utilized by Distribution Operations; lead continuous enhancement to support business processes.
• Track and monitor project effectiveness; recommend and implement changes to ensure business objectives are met.
• Apply critical thinking to solve challenging problems.
• Provide end user training and manage system testing activities as required.
• Lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues.
• Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience delivering large scale technology projects/programs in Supply Chain Operations.
• Experience implementing and supporting Warehouse Management Systems (preferably HighJump/Korber).
• Experience in Order Management, Order Fulfillment, Shipping, and Inventory functions.
• Working knowledge of Bill of Material, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Forecasting & Planning.
• Working knowledge of Data Analysis applications and tools.
• Familiarity with SQL and database tables; able to write basic queries.
• Strong project management, business process design and facilitation skills.
• Experience across all phases of the project cycle interfacing with technical teams and business users.
• Proven experience managing stakeholder expectations and cross-functional teams.
• Strong familiarity with software development methodologies and change management process.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication.
• Outstanding time management and organization.
• Ability to solve problems and resolve conflict.
• Ability to manage internal customer relationships and expectations.
• Ability to understand technical vision and communicate it to technical and non-technical parties.
• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (a plus).
