Description

This is a high-impact individual contributor role that owns critical simulation/test data product workflows end-to-end and influences how work is done across the team. The role requires operational leadership and technical depth, with expectations to set quality standards, guide peers, mentor other ICs through influence, and improve how data, tests, and issues are defined, measured, and acted upon.

Responsibilities

  • Own the data product supporting simulation and test issue management, ensuring it is accurate, scalable, and aligned to protocol execution needs.
  • Maintain and evolve issue categories for consistent interpretation and high-quality protocol data with close collaboration with simulation partners.
  • Identify gaps, refine issue definitions, and ensure consistent application of taxonomy items across teams and workflows.
  • Support creation of metrics, dashboards, and analyses that surface trends and inform prioritization and decision-making.
  • Contribute to adjacent data products and pilot initiatives across the SEO portfolio to enhance operational excellence and data reliability.
  • Identify and drive process improvements to make simulation/test issue workflows more scalable, efficient, and resilient as the AV software stack evolves.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in consulting, finance, business operations, tech startups, or similarly analytical and strategic environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience contributing to strategies and solutions within a complex, rapidly evolving domain, ideally involving data products, operational workflows, or AV-related systems.
  • Strong communication skills for clear summaries, presenting insights, and communicating recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated analytical rigor: pose data-driven questions, conduct insightful analysis, and develop or improve metrics and KPIs.
  • Cross-team collaboration experience with differing priorities to drive clarity and forward progress.
  • Comfort switching between strategic thinking and hands-on execution; adapt with sound judgment and EQ.
  • Willingness to ask hard questions, challenge assumptions, and surface inconsistencies to improve data quality and operational clarity.
  • Familiarity with SQL.
