Description

The role owns and grows the trade social media presence, including the Trade Facebook Page, the Travel Advisor Facebook Group, and other trade-facing social channels. It develops and schedules content, manages community engagement, creates and optimizes paid social campaigns, and uses performance/trend analysis to improve audience growth and engagement. It also designs a wide range of trade marketing assets for digital and print channels while ensuring alignment with brand standards and visual identity.

Responsibilities

  • Own the trade social media content calendar from planning through execution; identify content opportunities and develop content supporting brand announcements, promotions, events, and trade marketing initiatives.
  • Create, schedule, publish, and optimize content across Carnival-owned trade social channels.
  • Monitor content performance and social media trends; continuously improve audience growth and engagement.
  • Manage and optimize paid social campaigns (audience targeting, creative development, performance tracking, reporting) to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Manage day-to-day engagement across the Trade Facebook Page, Travel Advisor Facebook Group, and other trade communities.
  • Respond to questions and provide timely, accurate information; facilitate conversations and foster an engaging community experience.
  • Monitor discussions, identify engagement opportunities, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to address advisor needs.
  • Resolve advisor inquiries quickly and accurately through strong relationships with Sales, Public Relations, Marketing, and other business areas.
  • Develop, execute, and monitor paid social campaigns supporting Trade Marketing objectives; analyze metrics, identify optimization opportunities, and report recommendations.
  • Concept, design, and execute trade marketing materials across digital and print channels (social, email, digital advertising, sales/promotions, presentations, event collateral, partner communications).
  • Serve as a creative resource and brand champion; translate marketing priorities into engaging content aligned with brand standards.
  • Use Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and other creative tools to produce high-quality work from concept to final execution.
  • Maintain attention to detail, organization, and project management while balancing multiple priorities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in social media/community management, graphic design, or digital marketing.
  • Demonstrated experience in social media strategy, content planning/editorial calendar management, community growth, and paid social campaign management with analytics and reporting.
  • Proven graphic design expertise with a strong portfolio.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Ability to maintain consistent brand identity across channels.
  • Experience with project management tools like Asana preferred.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce and basic HTML is a plus.
  • Strong communication, organization, and customer-focused judgment; capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Cruise/travel/hospitality experience preferred but not required.
  • Travel: less than 25% non-shipboard travel likely.
  • Work conditions: in-office in South Florida (Miami/Ft. Lauderdale) Monday–Thursday; work from home on Fridays possible.
