Role Summary

We are seeking a creative and security-minded Security Awareness Specialist to help shape and elevate the organization’s cyber safety culture. This hybrid role bridges technical cybersecurity with internal marketing, corporate communications, and instructional design. You will design, produce, and execute engaging educational campaigns that turn complex threat concepts into actionable, easy-to-digest guidance for employees across all business units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Author and publish engaging digital assets, including interactive e-learning modules, newsletters, video tutorials, and executive presentations.
  • Design and roll out end-to-end security training initiatives aimed at fostering safe digital habits company-wide.
  • Translate complex cybersecurity threats, policies, and best practices into clear, business-centric language.
  • Curate and maintain the central security awareness knowledge hub on SharePoint and internal distribution channels.
  • Use generative AI and modern content tools to accelerate material creation and keep educational formats fresh and interactive.
  • Partner with IT Security specialists, business leaders, and third-party vendors to align awareness initiatives with core organizational risks.
  • Define metrics and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate program reach, behavioral change, and overall effectiveness.

Qualifications & Experience

Must-Have Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in Security Awareness, Internal Communications, Educational Content Design, Marketing, or L&D.
  • Solid grasp of core cybersecurity principles, common threat vectors such as social engineering and phishing, and safe operational habits.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a flair for storytelling and brand building.
  • Demonstrated capability in building interactive learning materials and digital media using standard content tools.
  • Strong organizational skills, with confidence to collaborate independently and influence stakeholders across departments.

Nice-to-Have

  • Track record of scaling awareness programs within large-scale or global enterprises.
  • Industry certifications reflecting a foundational security background, such as CompTIA Security+, ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity, or similar.
  • Familiarity with security dynamics across IT and Industrial Control / Operational Technology (OT) environments.

Working Model

  • Primarily remote / hybrid, with occasional travel for team alignments or key events.
