Platform Architect | f/m/d

About the role

As a Business Platform Architect, you will work at the interface of business, IT, and Data Science to ensure platforms provide the features and tools needed for scalable (Gen)AI use cases. You will track technological advancements, act as a contact point for involved stakeholders, research and potentially proof-of-concept new tools and technologies, and support use cases with conceptual design and infrastructure selection.

You will contribute to architectural blueprints and standardized ways of working, aligning with AI Foundations and Business Technology units to enable a scalable approach to (Gen)AI.

How you will get the job done

• Enable strategic digitalization projects by providing AI and digital platforms across the insurance value chain
• Support the design of software solutions for productive deployment of (Gen)AI solutions in national and international entities, including integration with existing applications and processes
• Evaluate and support implementation of tools and technologies for cloud-based (Gen)AI platforms
• Collaborate on the conceptual design and enforcement of technical blueprints with AI Foundations and Business Technology units
• Develop technical know-how, tools, and methods across Digital Technologies, IT architecture, and IT units
• Support and advise strategic digitalization projects on secure and efficient platform usage

Skills and experience you will need

• Fluent spoken and written English
• University degree in Informatics, Business Informatics, or a related field
• Good knowledge of (Gen)AI technologies, MLOps, cloud computing, and modern development tools
• Experience with platform architectures and microservices
• Understanding of business processes and alignment of technical solutions with business goals
• Knowledge of at least one programming, scripting, or database language, such as Python, Spark, or SQL
• Experience with cloud platforms, especially Azure and Databricks
• Willingness to innovate, work proactively, and think in a connected way
• Knowledge of scalable data management and data architectures, including data pipelining
• Willingness and ability to travel
