IT Cluster Manager | f/m/d

About the role

As an IT Cluster Manager, you will be responsible for financial steering of IT for a group of companies within ERGO International. This role ensures transparency and effective financial steering of IT across ERGO International entities.

You will work closely with local CIOs and CFOs to ensure transparency, consistency and quality of IT financial data and to support decision-making on costs, investments and portfolio priorities. This role combines financial management, data analysis and stakeholder advisory. You will translate financial and operational data into clear insights and recommendations and support the implementation of group-wide standards, processes and tools.

You will also contribute to the integration and transformation of IT organizations across the cluster, ensuring alignment with group frameworks (e.g. TBM) and improving overall cost efficiency and value delivery.

How you will get the job done

• Deliver IT financial steering activities based on the TBM framework and corporate processes, including planning, forecasting, budgeting, KPI management and cost allocation.
• Collaborate with CIOs, CFOs, IT Portfolio Management, Architecture, Infrastructure and Development teams.
• Collect, validate and structure financial and operational data from multiple entities.
• Analyze data to identify trends, risks, opportunities and performance drivers.
• Prepare analyses, reports and recommendations to support management decisions.
• Develop and validate business cases, from requirements clarification to final approval.
• Support integration and transformation initiatives across the cluster, from planning to execution.
• Optimize the IT portfolio of projects, products and services using financial and value-based criteria.
• Design and improve processes and guidelines in line with group governance.
• Promote knowledge sharing and alignment across entities within the cluster.
• Develop and enhance reporting solutions, including data models, dashboards and data flows.

Skills and experience you will need

• Fluency in English.
• Strong experience at the interface of IT and Finance, ideally in IT controlling, IT financial management or similar roles.
• Solid understanding of IT cost structures, budgeting and forecasting, including CAPEX, OPEX, cost allocation and cost drivers.
• Experience applying or working within IT financial frameworks such as TBM or comparable models.
• Ability to translate financial and operational data into clear insights, management-ready analyses and recommendations.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders, including CIOs, CFOs and IT leadership, and supporting decision-making processes.
• Strong analytical thinking and a structured, pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
• Hands-on experience in data modelling, reporting and analysis with Power BI, Excel or comparable tools.
• Track record of contributing to transformation or integration initiatives across multiple entities or teams.
• High level of ownership, reliability and ability to work independently with limited guidance.
