How You Will Make an Impact

The Dune Express Roller crew will be responsible for changing rollers which fail on the conveyor system in a timely and efficient manner.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Gathers technical information to perform the job.
  • Performs equipment walk around and inspects and adjusts equipment; properly disposes of wastes.
  • Understanding of MSHA and OSHA standards and able to follow in accordance with while performing daily functions of the job.
  • Able to safely isolate equipment to perform repairs and maintenance, work at heights and in adverse weather conditions.
  • Checks the status of equipment availability with site supervisors, and follows procedures to pick up parts and supplies from the warehouse.
  • Be willing to learn the procedures of changing rollers with the roller changing tool which is provided and make quick responsive repairs without guidance.
  • Performs work order repairs on the conveyor system as directed by the Conveyor Supervisor.
  • Coordinates and plans down time efficiently to maximize uptime of production.
  • Work with conveyor mechanics and create a working relationship with other employees on the Dune Express.
  • To accomplish this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, the essential functions or the employment related responsibilities of the job.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: None required.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills required use of an I-pad.
