Operations Coordinator

About the Role

Support daily terminal and delivery operations in a fast-paced environment. Serve as a key operations and coordination partner for drivers, dock supervisors, and internal teams. Ensure smooth dock launches and high levels of on-time pickup and delivery performance. Provide consistent, high-quality customer and driver support. This role is onsite and aligned to standard weekday business hours.

What You'll Do

• Provide high-level customer service and operational support.
• Support drivers and serve as a primary point of contact during daily operations.
• Coordinate with dock supervisors to ensure successful daily dock launches.
• Lead and coordinate drivers to maintain on-time pickup and delivery performance.
• Maintain accurate driver records, including times, routes, and special handling instructions.
• Manage KPIs, open job reports, and daily POD reconciliation.
• Oversee pickup dispatch management, including B2B and B2C assignments.
• Support key customer accounts and provide ETAs as requested.
• Manually build jobs when required and input rate adjustments.
• Track and trace shipments to ensure service expectations are met.
• Provide ad-hoc delivery and pickup coverage as needed.
• Attend weekly operations meetings and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience in customer support and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to think on your feet and problem-solve in real time.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools, systems, and processes.
• Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and operate with a strong sense of urgency.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous dispatch, transportation, or logistics experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish.
