We’re looking for a hands-on, employee-focused HR Generalist to support employees across North America while contributing to global HR processes. This position reports directly to the Global Head of HR Operations and partners with HR Operations, HRBPs, and employees across the organization.

What You'll Do as an HR Generalist

Employee Support & Experience

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees in North America and a global resource for employee HR inquiries.
  • Provide timely support with questions about benefits, policies, time off, payroll, systems navigation, and general HR processes.
  • Ensure new hires experience a smooth onboarding process and that departing employees complete offboarding steps consistently.
  • Escalate manager-facing, employee relations, or other complex matters to the appropriate HRBP.

HR Documentation, Data Accuracy & Compliance

  • Maintain up-to-date employee documentation, including contracts, forms, and required records.
  • Ensure HR data accuracy across HRIS and documentation repositories through regular audits and updates.
  • Complete compliance tasks, including file audits, eligibility documentation verification, and regulatory updates.
  • Support global consistency in documentation standards and tracking.

Process Execution & Global Coordination

  • Execute core HR processes across multiple regions following established workflows.
  • Partner with Global HR Operations to support consistent process execution (onboarding, offboarding, changes, compliance updates).
  • Document process updates and improvements to enhance clarity, reduce errors, and support scalability.

HR Systems & Record Management

  • Enter, update, and maintain employee data in HR systems with accuracy and completeness.
  • Troubleshoot basic system questions and escalate technical issues as needed.
  • Support periodic HR system clean-ups and configuration updates.

Benefits, Leave & Employee Relations Support

  • Assist employees with routine benefits questions and navigation of self-service tools.
  • Coordinate leave-related documentation and communication in partnership with the Total Rewards team.
  • Provide first-level employee relations support and escalate complex issues to HRBPs.

Continuous Improvement & Special Projects

  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, documentation clarity, and employee experience.
  • Support global HR initiatives and operations projects.
  • Collect and share employee feedback to refine HR programs and workflows.

Key Skills

  • 2-5 years of HR Generalist, HR Operations, or People Operations experience.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. employment law and HR compliance requirements.

Additional Information

  • Anticipated base salary range: $60,000—$90,000 USD. Final salary based on location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
