[solidcore] is looking for a People Operations Specialist to join the growing People Operations team. You'll support the full employee lifecycle - from onboarding and offboarding to data integrity and compliance - and serve as a resource for HQ (corporate) and Field employees across the organization.
Located in Arlington, Virginia, operating on a hybrid schedule, the position reports to the Senior People Manager.
Responsibilities
Employee Lifecycle & Operations
- Support a seamless onboarding and offboarding experience, including background checks, I-9 compliance, systems access, documentation, and Workday data management
- Assist with employee changes including promotions, compensation updates, transfers, and assigned business processes
- Support new hire orientation and contribute to onboarding program improvements
- Assist with employment documentation management including offer letters, employment agreements, and other onboarding documents
- Partner with the Sr. People Manager to support alignment and operational execution across key initiatives
Data Integrity & Compliance
- Maintain accurate, audit-ready employee records and documentation to support compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Maintain accurate employee records and data integrity across HR systems including Workday and Mind Body Online (MBO)
- Help maintain Workday Help Articles and SOPs
Employee Experience & Operational Support
- Serve as a point of contact for HR-related inquiries via email and Workday Help Cases
- Manage Workday transactions for employee lifecycle
- Support benefits enrollment and life event questions in partnership with Total Rewards
- Partner with Talent Acquisition, Finance, Payroll, IT, and other cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in People Operations or HR Operations
- Workday experience required
- Experience supporting moderate to high-volume hiring environments
- Working knowledge of HR compliance and documentation standards
- Strong attention to detail and process orientation
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort working in HR systems to maintain employee records, document cases, track actions, and pull reports
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office, including Excel for tracking and reporting
- HR certification (PHR or SHRM-CP) a plus
