Description

You will translate business needs into functional and technical processes and data models, collaborate with Solution Architects and stakeholders, and deliver stable, high-performance, scalable solutions aligned with Enterprise Architecture standards. You’ll take ownership of squad-managed applications and assets (including CMDB maintenance), define key technical decisions, and maintain an end-to-end view of applications interacting with your domain. You will also provide hands-on operational support during hotline/day and watch duty/night rotations and act as an escalation point for critical incidents.

Responsibilities

• Convert business requirements into functional/technical processes and data models

• Work with Solution Architects, Technical Leads, Application Owners, and business stakeholders

• Deliver scalable, reliable solutions aligned to Enterprise Architecture

• Lead and guide key technical decisions; provide expert guidance to squad members

• Maintain end-to-end understanding of applications interacting with your domain

• Own squad-managed applications and assets, including CMDB maintenance

• Prioritize technical requirements within the squad backlog alongside business expectations

• Coordinate lifecycle activities (functional upgrades, technical migrations, security updates)

• Provide operational support during hotline (day) and watch duty (night) rotations

• Escalate and help resolve critical incidents

• Mentor and support development of design and engineering skills in the team

Requirements

Must Have

• 5+ years of experience designing solutions in distributed environments

• Strong knowledge of database modeling, optimization, and advanced SQL Server querying

• Proven experience with Microsoft technologies (C#)

• Hands-on experience with Azure services and cloud-based architectural patterns

• Familiarity with APIs and modern integration approaches

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-changing, dynamic environment

• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and active listening)

• Experience with incident and change management processes

• Ability to mentor, guide, and support team skills

• Resilience in high-pressure situations with a proactive, solution-focused mindset

• Ability to take ownership and confidently drive technical direction
