Description

You’ll build and modernize secure, reliable, and compliant cloud solutions in an agile environment. The work spans unstructured-data processing, model-driven alert generation, and an interface for alert review and disposition. You’ll use AI-assisted development (including GitHub Copilot and agent/reusable-skill patterns) with strong quality, security, and human oversight.

Responsibilities

• Build cloud-native Azure solutions for greenfield projects and existing applications
• Adopt emerging technologies and make sustainable technical decisions using shared platforms and standards
• Deliver solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements, with a focus on security and compliance
• Apply AI-assisted development using GitHub Copilot, agents, and reusable skills across delivery (with quality, security, and human oversight)
• Introduce emerging practices and help build capability across the product family
• Share expertise, support hiring, and contribute to engineering culture and communities

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience delivering maintainable, production-quality software
• Expertise in Java and relational database development (preferably PostgreSQL)
• Proficiency with DevOps and CI/CD practices (ideally GitLab pipelines)
• Knowledge of Azure Functions or similar serverless, event-driven platforms (triggers, bindings, scaling)
• Knowledge of Azure Service Bus or similar messaging (queues, topics, publish/subscribe, error handling)
• Skills in data-flow engineering across ingestion, transformation, and orchestration
• Experience with AI-assisted development (ideally GitHub Copilot, agents, reusable skills, effective prompting)
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
