Description

Own solutions that operate at enterprise scale, collaborating with business stakeholders to translate requirements into measurable outcomes. You’ll build and evolve cloud-native backend services and modern frontend experiences, using AI throughout the Software Development Lifecycle. The role emphasizes engineering excellence, quality at scale, and active participation in Agile delivery.

Responsibilities

• Drive engineering excellence within a Scrum team: improve collaboration, delivery quality, and team effectiveness

• Take ownership of engineering outcomes, ensuring clear decisions, actions, and measurable business value

• Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Analysts to refine requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and provide estimates

• Provide technical guidance for roadmap, backlog, and solution architecture

• Leverage AI across design, build, test, and delivery to improve efficiency

• Engineer cloud-native solutions: enterprise-grade backend services with Java/Spring; scalable apps on Azure/Kubernetes; React frontend

• Automate software delivery with Azure DevOps and Azure Pipelines

• Ensure quality at scale: peer reviews, quality gates, automated testing with Playwright, and unit testing as integral

• Validate releases with manual verification where appropriate; focus on performance, scalability, maintainability, and delivery predictability

• Bridge business objectives with technical execution; develop domain expertise in facility/workplace/workforce/placemaking
