Description

You will design, build, and deliver high-quality software that enhances healthcare customer experiences, participating in all phases of the software engineering lifecycle using agile methods. You’ll contribute hands-on development, mentor junior developers through debugging, and help guide architectural decisions across UI and backend systems. You’ll also perform release management, collaborate with product teams to understand user and partner requirements, and lead a small team on aggressive timelines.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on development and mentoring junior developers in debugging and delivery

• Perform release management

• Partner with product teams to design solutions and understand complex user requirements

• Make architectural decisions for both UI and backend systems

• Provide technical guidance to a small team on aggressive timelines

• Build and deliver integrated solutions in a dynamic, agile environment

Requirements

• 5+ years designing and building cloud-based software engineering solutions

• 5+ years experience with modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, SQL)

• 5+ years experience with APIs, microservices, and modern software patterns

• 5+ years experience building fast API, CI/CD, container-based applications, and UI (React/Angular)

• 2+ years hands-on Google Cloud Platform experience using BigTable, Spanner, GKE, and Cloud Functions

• 2+ years building observability and fail-proof systems for 24/7 uptime

• 1+ year soliciting complex requirements and managing relationships with key stakeholders

• 2+ years independently managing deliverables

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, or related field
