Description

You will develop and maintain the Linux-based IT infrastructure that supports shop operations, including system solutions, testing, and deployment of new technologies. The job involves administering distributed Linux environments, supporting Linux-based endpoint devices, analyzing technical solutions, and participating in Linux environment modernization. You’ll also gain hands-on knowledge in areas such as OpenSUSE, automation, and building system images.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Linux environments in a distributed store infrastructure

• Maintain and develop systems supporting Linux-based end-user devices

• Analyze existing technical solutions and recommend improvements

• Participate in modernization and development projects for the Linux environment

• Test, review, and deploy IT hardware for store use

• Diagnose and resolve system, infrastructure, and hardware problems

• Monitor the IT environment and handle incidents

• Collaborate with IT teams and external partners

• Create and update technical documentation

• Implement changes across the distributed IT infrastructure

Requirements

• Experience with Linux systems on both desktop and server

• Ability to diagnose system and hardware issues

• Basic networking knowledge

• Analytical thinking and independent problem-solving

• Ability to write and maintain technical documentation

• Proactive, curious, and continuously learning mindset

• Regular on-site collaboration in Poznań and participation in IT lab activities at least twice per month

• English level B2
