Description

You will take responsibility for the Linux infrastructure used by the R&D team and help develop and automate it. The environment connects Linux servers and virtual machines, Docker, computer networks (including VLANs and firewalls), and integrations with biometric devices. You will have space for your own ideas—introducing tools, simplifying processes, and improving how the infrastructure operates.

Responsibilities

  • Administer, configure, and develop Linux servers, virtual machines, and the R&D infrastructure
  • Work with computer networks (TCP/IP, switches, routers, VLAN, firewalls) and communication with biometric devices
  • Automate environment setup and deployments using Python or Bash; reduce manual routine work
  • Manage Docker-based environments and collaborate on automating builds and deployments
  • Diagnose and resolve Linux, network, and infrastructure problems
  • Improve infrastructure security via Linux hardening, access rights, updates, and network security
  • Provide occasional support for internal IT (Microsoft 365, Windows)

Requirements

  • Practical experience with Linux administration and configuration
  • Basic knowledge of computer networking: TCP/IP, DNS, SSH
  • Ability to write and edit scripts in Python or Bash
  • At least basic experience with virtualization, containers, or software deployment environments
  • Ability to independently analyze technical issues and find solutions
  • Ability to read technical documentation in English

Benefits

  • Real technical ownership and influence over infrastructure direction, tooling, and improvements
  • Interesting technology stack connecting Linux, networking, software development, hardware, and biometric technologies
  • Flexible working hours and hybrid work option
  • 5 weeks of vacation
  • Room for professional growth in Linux, automation, networking, and cybersecurity
  • Close collaboration with software and hardware developers and the ability to join additional R&D projects over time
  • International environment with global customers
  • Small team, fast communication, and direct access to decision-makers
