Description

Design, build, and maintain large-scale services, job pipelines, and systems. Define architecture and technology stack, collaborate with Software Engineering and Product stakeholders, and deliver solutions focused on security, performance, and scalability. Debug production issues across services and multiple layers of the stack while improving engineering standards, tooling, and processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain large-scale services, job pipelines, and systems
• Develop and define architecture and the technology stack
• Collaborate with Software Engineering and Product stakeholders on product development needs
• Solve complex problems with emphasis on security, performance, and scalability
• Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack
• Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial experience as a Software Development Engineer
• 5+ years of programming experience with Go, C#, C/C++, or Python
• Experience with one or more modern JavaScript front-end frameworks: React, Next.js, Vue.js, or Angular
• Experience contributing to architecture and design of new and concurrent systems
• Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems, including designing and implementing APIs
• Experience with databases: PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Experience with datastores: Elasticsearch or Redis
• Strong computer science and software development fundamentals (OOP, data structures, algorithm design)
• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Codex, Claude Code)
• Self-starter with operational focus and strong problem-solving skills
• Working proficiency in written and spoken English
