Description

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design and build cloud-native, greenfield products from the ground up. You will own features and new capabilities end to end, working with Product Management and Engineering to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure software. The role is hands-on, with a modern TypeScript stack and a strong focus on automation, observability, and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient, and testable code; own complex features and services from design to deployment

• Refine requirements and scope technical solutions with your squad (PMs, engineers, QAs)

• Champion automated testing and CI/CD; write unit, integration, and contract tests

• Build, deploy, and monitor services in AWS using Terraform, Kubernetes, and GitHub Actions

• Take responsibility for health, performance, and maintainability of shipped code

• Evolve engineering standards through knowledge sharing, code reviews, and learning from incidents

• Mentor and teach less experienced engineers

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development with strong TypeScript (Node.js & React) and excellent JavaScript fundamentals

• Production experience running systems in AWS using EKS, Lambda, and RDS

• Skills designing and building GraphQL and RESTful APIs; practical knowledge of MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Kafka

• Comfortable developing software in an event-driven architecture

• Deep knowledge of automated testing with Jest, Pact, and TDD principles

• Comfortable building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and deployment primarily with Terraform

• Experience using DataDog (or similar) for monitoring and debugging production issues

• Agile experience using Git, Jira, and Confluence; collaborative mindset with continuous improvement

• Ability to take a problem end-to-end with a pragmatic, product-focused delivery approach
