Description

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance frontend and backend software applications in a collaborative agile environment. Support program objectives including enhancement and maintenance of existing systems, and provide analytical/technical guidance during conceptualization and implementation. May lead small teams of developers across the full software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance frontend and backend applications

• Work with users to define existing or new system scope and objectives

• Provide analytical support and technical advice during conceptualization, development, and implementation

• Review and evaluate systems/software for adherence to software safety and systems safety directives, standards, guidelines, and criteria

• Lead small high-performing teams across the full software development lifecycle

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with CI polygraph

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related (additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)

• 8+ years in software engineering or related experience

• 3+ years with C/C++ development (C++11 or newer)

• 3+ years with front-end development (JavaScript, CSS)

• Experience with Docker

• Experience with MongoDB

• Experience leading agile teams and implementing agile best practices

• Ability to work in both Windows and Linux environments
