Description

You will deliver reliable, production-ready software by owning scoped features through collaborative engineering teams. The role includes building and testing backend services, integrating event-driven messaging and authentication, and enabling AI/ML capabilities and genAI assistants. You will translate complex business/user problems into technical requirements and measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of assigned services, APIs, user interfaces, or ML model components (implementation, iteration, testing, and support)
• Write clean, efficient, and reliable code and execute the full software development lifecycle (CI/CD, automated testing, observability, monitoring, maintenance)
• Build automation scripts for repetitive tasks and implement telemetry
• Integrate AI agents and ML components via internal/external APIs and support genAI enablement (e.g., Copilot)
• Convert high-level designs into detailed designs and participate in design reviews using sound patterns and principles
• Define technical requirements and success metrics with stakeholders
• Monitor application performance using metrics and logging; ensure reliable, high-quality releases

Requirements

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) plus 1 year of software engineering experience, or Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) plus 3 years of software engineering experience in a related field
• Experience with REST API web services using Python; object-oriented programming in Python
• Experience with Redis; CI/CD workflows using Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience with JWT authentication/authorization; Apache Kafka event-driven messaging
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform for cloud app development/deployment
• Experience with unit and integration tests for backend services
• Experience supporting client service architecture design/implementation
• Experience implementing HTTP/HTTPS API communication with Swagger documentation
• Experience designing and implementing user-interactive chatbot applications
