Description

Design, build, and maintain large-scale services, job pipelines, and systems. Develop and define architecture and the tech stack, collaborate with stakeholders across Software Engineering and Product, and solve complex problems with a focus on security, performance, and scalability. Debug production issues across services and multiple layers, while improving engineering standards, tooling, and processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain large-scale services, job pipelines and systems
• Develop and define the architecture and tech stack
• Work with stakeholders in Software Engineering and Product to understand product-development needs
• Solve complex problems with a strong focus on security, performance, and scalability
• Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack
• Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial experience as a Software Development Engineer
• 5+ years of programming experience with one or more modern languages: Go, C#, C/C++, Python
• Experience with one or more modern JavaScript front-end frameworks: React, Next.js, Vue.js, Angular
• Experience contributing to architecture and design of new and concurrent systems
• Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems, including designing and implementing APIs
• Experience with Databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and DataStores (Elasticsearch, Redis)
• Strong Computer Science and development fundamentals: object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design
• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Codex, Claude Code)
• Strong self-starter with operational focus; problem-solver
• Working proficiency with written and spoken English
