Description

Prepare and maintain a sterile field for surgical procedures, including setup of sterile instruments, assisting surgeons with gowning and gloving, and draping patients.

Support the surgical team during operations by passing instruments and supplies, holding retractors, and anticipating surgeons’ needs. Distribute supplies and perform equipment maintenance, testing, and setup as needed while following all relevant regulations and departmental policies to ensure privacy and safety.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider
• CVOR
• 1 year of recent relevant experience working as a surgical technology professional
• CST preferred
