Description

Provide comprehensive primary care to patients under supervision of a licensed physician. You will conduct histories and physicals, order and interpret diagnostic tests, develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and document care accurately. You will also educate patients on prevention and collaborate with the care team to ensure coordinated care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care under physician supervision

• Take patient histories and perform physical examinations

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests

• Develop and implement treatment plans

• Prescribe medications

• Perform procedures as authorized by state regulations and supervising physician

• Educate and counsel patients on preventive care and health management

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other professionals

• Document medical records accurately and thoroughly

• Stay current through continuing education

Requirements

• MPAS degree from an accredited program

• Active, unencumbered PA license in Massachusetts

• NCCPA national certification

• 1+ year of clinical experience in specialty (preferred)
