Description

Provide comprehensive primary care to patients under the supervision of a licensed physician. Conduct patient histories and physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and educate patients on preventive care. Maintain accurate medical records and coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Take patient histories and perform physical examinations

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests

• Develop and implement treatment plans

• Prescribe medications and perform authorized procedures

• Counsel patients on health management and prevention

• Collaborate with the clinical team for coordinated care

• Document medical records accurately and thoroughly

• Stay current through continuing education

Requirements

• MPAS degree from an accredited program

• Active, unencumbered PA license in Minnesota

• NCCPA national certification

• Prefer at least 1 year of clinical experience in primary care
