Description

Locum tenens Gastroenterology Physician role in York, PA with flexible block scheduling and call. You will provide inpatient consults, rounding, and emergency procedure coverage in a large acute care hospital (593 beds), managing a patient census of 30–50 and 9–16 new consults daily. ERCP/EUS are not required, and onsite anesthesiology support is available; documentation is completed in Epic Systems EMR.

Responsibilities

• Manage inpatient consults and daily rounding

• Provide emergency procedure coverage as needed

• Care for adult inpatient population (18+)

Requirements

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology

• Active Pennsylvania license OR IMLC

• DEA required

• Minimum 1 year of experience

• Ability to manage inpatient consults, rounding, and emergency procedures
