Description

Provide inpatient gastroenterology procedures and call coverage in a high-acuity hospital setting with guaranteed daytime procedural hours. Coverage includes Friday evening through Monday morning weekend call, plus defined 7-day coverage blocks. ERCP and EUS are not included; anesthesiology support is available onsite for all procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient GI procedures during scheduled daytime hours

• Provide night call responsibilities

• Cover weekend call blocks and scheduled 7-day blocks

• Manage inpatient GI consults and procedural workflows

Requirements

• Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in Gastroenterology

• Active Pennsylvania medical license (or willingness to obtain)

• DEA required

• Minimum 1 year of experience

• Comfortable managing inpatient GI consults and procedural workflows

• No ERCP or EUS required

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
