• Role: Locum Tenens Gastroenterologist (clinic + hospital)

• Schedule: 2-weeks-on / 2-weeks-off rotation; Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM (day shift)

• Responsibilities: Colonoscopies, EGDs, and inpatient GI consultations (on-call required)

• Documentation: Epic

• Patient volume: 10–11 patients per day

Description

Board-Certified Gastroenterologist locum tenens assignment providing both clinic and hospital-based gastroenterology services. Perform colonoscopies and EGDs, evaluate and manage inpatient GI consults, and provide care across adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Work with a multidisciplinary team and document all encounters in Epic.

Responsibilities

• Perform colonoscopy and endoscopic procedures

• Evaluate and manage inpatient GI consults

• Provide gastroenterology care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team

• Document encounters and procedures in Epic

Requirements

• Board Certified in Gastroenterology

• Active Pennsylvania medical license (willing to license acceptable)

• DEA license required

• Minimum 2 years of experience

• Proficiency in colonoscopy and EGD procedures

• Epic EMR experience required

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in clinic and hospital settings

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
