Description

Locum tenens Urology coverage is needed in York, PA at a busy acute care hospital with flexible block scheduling and consistent 24-hour call. You’ll work in a well-supported setting with robotic surgery availability, EPIC EMR, and collaborative onsite clinical support. The caseload focuses on general urology procedures, with advanced procedures welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide urology inpatient and call coverage during assigned scheduled blocks
• Perform/cover general urology procedures including cystoscopy, ureteroscopy, and lithotripsy
• Manage prostate procedures and other common urology cases as needed (e.g., vasectomy, orchiopexy)
• Respond to callbacks as part of the 24-hour call coverage workflow

Requirements

• BC/BE in Urology
• Active PA license or IMLC
• DEA required
• Minimum 1 year experience preferred (motivated new graduates may be considered)
