Description

Locum tenens gastroenterology physician opportunity providing both clinic and hospital-based GI care. Perform colonoscopies and EGDs, manage inpatient GI consultations, and document encounters and procedures in Epic on a predictable block schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform colonoscopy and other endoscopic procedures
• Evaluate and manage inpatient GI consults
• Provide GI care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team
• Document all encounters and procedures in Epic

Requirements

• Board Certified in Gastroenterology
• Active Pennsylvania Medical License (willing to license acceptable)
• DEA license required
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Proficiency in colonoscopy and EGD procedures
• Epic EMR experience required
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in clinic and hospital settings
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
