• Schedule: 2-weeks-on / 2-weeks-off rotation; Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM (day shift) with on-call

• Patient volume: 10–11 patients per day

Description

Board-certified gastroenterology physician needed for a locum tenens assignment providing clinic and hospital gastroenterology services. You will perform colonoscopy/endoscopic procedures, manage inpatient GI consultations, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and document all encounters and procedures in Epic.

Responsibilities

• Perform colonoscopy and endoscopic procedures

• Evaluate and manage inpatient GI consultations

• Provide care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams

• Document encounters and procedures in Epic

Requirements

• Board Certified in Gastroenterology

• Active Pennsylvania medical license (willing to obtain acceptable)

• DEA license required

• Minimum 2 years of experience

• Proficiency in colonoscopy and EGD procedures

• Epic EMR experience required

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in clinic and hospital settings

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
