Description

Join a modern, lean, self-governing engineering team to deliver a scalable, high-performance platform used by external customers. Work as the sole developer from idea to ready product, creating documentation (PRDs, test cases, design docs) and ensuring delivery with quality. Apply cloud technologies and microservices architecture while ensuring application security throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Communicate daily with clients to collect and analyze business needs
• Create documentation including PRDs, test cases, and design docs
• Develop and maintain the application/platform as the sole developer from idea to production
• Build and maintain a scalable, high-performance platform for external customers
• Manage multiple tasks and deliver on time with quality
• Contribute to a transparent, trust-based engineering culture and support autonomy
• Apply cloud technologies and microservices architecture
• Ensure application security throughout the development lifecycle
• Support information management, data modeling, and system integration
• Perform unit testing and follow established development methodologies

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years experience implementing and integrating third-party software through full system implementation lifecycle
• Expertise in Python
• Understanding of application security
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
• Strong self-management and prioritization skills
• Ability to work in an agile environment without direct supervision
• Solid understanding of information management, data modeling, system integration, and development methodologies including unit testing
• Excellent English communication skills and experience in client-facing communications
