Description

Lead a scalable, high-performance platform used by external customers, taking an application from idea to a production-ready product. You will communicate daily with stakeholders and clients across the USA, EU, and India, while applying cloud technologies and microservices and ensuring security throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients daily to collect and analyze business needs

• Create documentation including PRDs, test cases, and design docs

• Build and maintain a scalable, high-performance platform for external customers

• Work as the sole developer on an application from idea to ready product

• Deliver on time with quality while managing multiple tasks simultaneously

• Contribute to a transparent, trust-based engineering culture that encourages autonomy and mastery

• Apply cloud technologies and a microservices architecture to platform development

• Ensure application security throughout the development lifecycle

• Support information management, data modeling, and system integration

• Perform unit testing and follow established development methodologies

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience

• 5+ years of experience implementing and integrating with 3rd-party software across full system implementation life-cycles (analyze, design, build, test, implement, support)

• Expertise in Python

• Understanding of application security

• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems

• Strong self-management and prioritization skills

• Ability to work in an agile environment without direct supervision

• Solid understanding of information management, data modeling, system integration, and development methodologies including unit testing

• Excellent English communication skills and experience in client-facing communications
