Description

Lead development of a scalable, high-performance platform leveraged by external customers. You will act as the sole developer from idea to ready product while applying cloud technologies and a microservices architecture. You’ll ensure security throughout development and support information management, data modeling, and system integration.

Responsibilities

• Communicate daily with clients to collect and analyze business needs

• Create documentation (PRDs, test cases, design docs)

• Develop and maintain a scalable, high-performance customer-facing platform

• Deliver on time with quality while managing multiple tasks

• Support a transparent, trust-based engineering culture and encourage autonomy

• Apply cloud technologies and microservices architecture

• Ensure application security across the development lifecycle

• Support information management, data modeling, and system integration

• Perform unit testing and follow established development methodologies

Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience

• 5+ years implementing and integrating 3rd-party software across full system lifecycle (analyze, design, build, test, implement, support)

• Expertise in Python

• Understanding of application security

• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems

• Strong self-management and prioritization skills

• Ability to work in an agile environment without direct supervision

• Solid understanding of information management, data modeling, system integration, and development methodologies including unit testing

• Excellent English communication skills and experience in client-facing communications
