Description

You will join a modern, lean, self-governing engineering team and work as the sole developer to take an application from idea to a ready product. The role includes direct daily client/stakeholder communication, creating PRDs, test cases, and design documentation, and delivering platform capabilities on time. You will apply cloud technologies and a microservices architecture while ensuring security and performing unit testing.

Responsibilities

• Communicate directly with clients to collect and analyze business needs

• Create documentation including PRDs, test cases, and design docs

• Build and maintain a scalable, high-performance platform for external customers

• Work as the sole developer from concept to production-ready product

• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while delivering high quality on time

• Apply cloud technologies and microservices architecture

• Ensure application security throughout the development lifecycle

• Support information management, data modeling, and system integration

• Perform unit testing and follow established development methodologies

Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience

• 5+ years implementing and integrating 3rd-party software across full system life cycles (analyze, design, build, test, implement, support)

• Expertise in Python

• Understanding of application security

• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems

• Strong self-management and prioritization skills

• Ability to work in an agile environment without direct supervision

• Solid understanding of information management, data modeling, system integration, and development methodologies including unit testing

• Excellent English communication skills and experience in client-facing communications
