Description

Join as a Senior Python Developer to build secure, high-performing systems that support critical financial operations in the digital assets and blockchain space. You will collaborate with stakeholders to develop features and products, define technical specifications, and present implementation work to leadership. You’ll implement unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews to ensure quality, security, extensibility, and maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders on features and new products
• Develop solutions according to business requirements
• Define and write up technical specifications, including technology and coding workflow
• Present implementation work to team leaders, heads, or the CTO
• Implement unit and integration tests
• Ensure software meets quality, security, modifiability, and extensibility requirements
• Participate in code reviews: identify anti-patterns and opportunities for refactoring
• Design and implement secure integrations with blockchain networks, crypto exchanges, and digital wallets
• Contribute to systems supporting cryptocurrency trading, custody, and settlement

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of software development experience
• Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture
• Technical mindset with attention to detail
• Understanding of software quality assurance principles
• Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes
• Experience with service-oriented architecture (SOA)
• Experience coding in Python
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Some experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar messaging technologies
• Experience developing microservices and managing containerized applications
• Some experience building websockets
• Some experience with Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Helm)
• Proficiency with Git and Jenkins
• Understanding of web security standards and best practices
• Strong knowledge of blockchain fundamentals, cryptography, and digital assets
• Hands-on experience integrating with crypto APIs (REST/WebSocket), smart contracts, or blockchain SDKs
• Upper-intermediate English (B2)
