Description

Lead a customer-facing application from idea to a ready product as the sole developer. Work with engineers, architects, and product managers while communicating daily with clients/stakeholders in the USA, EU, and India. Apply cloud technologies and microservices architecture, ensure security across the lifecycle, and support information management, data modeling, and system integration.

Responsibilities

• Communicate directly with clients daily to collect and analyze business needs

• Create documentation including PRDs, test cases, and design docs

• Build and maintain a scalable, high-performance platform used by external customers

• Manage multiple tasks and deliver on time with quality

• Contribute to a transparent, trust-based engineering culture and drive autonomy

• Apply cloud technologies and microservices architecture

• Ensure application security throughout the development lifecycle

• Support information management, data modeling, and system integration

• Perform unit testing and follow established development methodologies

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience

• 5+ years implementing and integrating with 3rd-party software through the full lifecycle (analyze, design, build, test, implement, support)

• Expert-level Python

• Understanding of application security

• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems

• Strong self-management and prioritization skills

• Ability to work in an agile environment without direct supervision

• Solid understanding of information management, data modeling, system integration, and development methodologies including unit testing

• Excellent English communication skills and client-facing experience
