Description

You will lead development end-to-end as the sole developer, building and maintaining a scalable, high-performance platform leveraged by external customers. The role includes daily client/stakeholder communication to collect and analyze business needs, plus creating documentation such as PRDs, test cases, and design docs.

Responsibilities

• Communicate directly with clients daily to collect and analyze business needs

• Create documentation including PRDs, test cases, and design docs

• Build an application from idea to ready product as the sole developer

• Develop and maintain a scalable, high-performance platform for external customers

• Deliver on time with quality while managing multiple tasks

• Contribute to a transparent, trust-based engineering culture and drive autonomy

• Apply cloud technologies and microservices architecture

• Ensure application security throughout the development lifecycle

• Support information management, data modeling, and system integration

• Perform unit testing and follow established development methodologies

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or related, or equivalent practical experience

• 5+ years integrating with 3rd-party software across full system lifecycles

• Expert Python skills

• Application security understanding

• Familiarity with Git or other version control

• Strong self-management and prioritization

• Ability to work in agile without direct supervision

• Knowledge of information management, data modeling, system integration, and unit testing

• Excellent English and client-facing communication experience
