Description

Hands-on Senior/Manager Java Full Stack Engineer to join a SWAT team solving complex business and technical challenges in a large enterprise environment. You will identify risks and dependencies, remove delivery blockers, provide technical leadership across multiple teams, and support architecture, integration, and modernization initiatives. The role also emphasizes applying AI-powered tools and approaches throughout the SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Tackle critical business and technical issues in a specialized SWAT team

• Proactively identify risks, dependencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities

• Collaborate with multiple development teams and business stakeholders to accelerate delivery

• Provide expert technical leadership and guidance within your domain

• Support architecture, integration, and modernization initiatives

• Drive best practices across software engineering, DevOps, and operational excellence

• Leverage AI-powered tools and approaches throughout the SDLC

• Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/IT/Computer Science or related field

• 5+ years of experience in a similar corporate IT role

• Strong commercial experience with Java and enterprise application development

• Expert-level domain knowledge

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management

• Proven ability to independently drive issue resolution and decision-making

• Experience working across multiple teams and managing technical dependencies

• Ability to operate effectively in complex enterprise environments

• 10+ years of commercial experience developing web-based applications

• Hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot

• Full-stack development background

• Practical experience with Angular or React (experience with both highly valued)

• Experience building and integrating REST APIs and SOAP services

• Solid SQL and SQL Server knowledge

• Experience with GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment practices

• Strong understanding of software architecture and engineering best practices

• Experience with Microsoft Azure: Azure DevOps, Cosmos DB, Application Insights

• Experience applying AI tools and practices throughout the SDLC

• Very good English (written and spoken)
