Description

Design and implement new system features using Java (Spring Boot) and Angular, and take part in technical/architectural decisions focused on security, performance, and quality. You will run code reviews, address technical debt, and troubleshoot issues from UAT through production. The role also includes deployment and maintenance support for developed modules and effort estimation within Agile delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new features with Java, Spring Boot, and Angular

• Define technical assumptions and support architectural decisions (security, performance, quality)

• Perform code reviews and ensure code meets agreed standards

• Identify technical debt and initiate refactoring activities

• Diagnose and resolve bugs found during UAT and issues occurring in production

• Support deployments and maintenance of application modules

• Estimate work effort for changes and collaborate with the team in Agile development

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of commercial programming experience, including: 4+ years with Angular, 3+ years with Java, and 3+ years with PostgreSQL

• Very good Angular knowledge (preferred 19+): components, modules, services, dependency injection, routing, forms, lazy loading, and application optimization

• Very good TypeScript and JavaScript (ES6+) knowledge, plus RxJS

• Practical knowledge of Angular Material or another UI component library

• Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, SCSS and CSS architecture principles

• Experience writing unit tests with Jest or Vitest

• Knowledge of Node.js, npm, and webpack/Vite tooling

• Basic knowledge of Java 18+, Spring Boot 3+ and JPA

• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL)

• Knowledge of integration technologies: REST, SOAP, and Kafka

• Knowledge of containerization tools: Docker and Kubernetes, plus CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)

• Knowledge of Git and experience with GitHub/Bitbucket

• Knowledge of Maven and Gradle build tools

• Knowledge of diagnostic tools: Kibana and Elasticsearch

• Knowledge of HTTP and Linux/Windows environments

• Knowledge of architectural and design patterns

• Minimum 2 years of experience using Agile methodologies

• Minimum 1 year of experience using AI in development work

• English proficiency enabling comfortable work with technical documentation

• Independence, good task organization, responsibility for delivered work, and teamwork skills
