Senior Software Engineer – Python/React/Data

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to develop and maintain reporting applications combining backend development, data engineering, database technologies, and frontend solutions. The role focuses on building reliable data workflows and intuitive reporting tools using Python, SQL, and React. Experience with C#/.NET is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance applications for business reporting, data analysis, and performance monitoring.
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines, data integrations, and reconciliation processes.
• Implement backend services and business logic using Python and SQL.
• Work with data platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks, and orchestrate workflows using Apache Airflow.
• Develop interactive reporting interfaces and visualizations using JavaScript and React.
• Implement data validation and automation to improve accuracy and reduce manual work.
• Analyze data discrepancies, optimize existing processes, and ensure reliable reporting.
• Maintain existing applications, including components built with C#/.NET.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and production support.

Required Experience and Skills

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong Python programming skills and advanced SQL knowledge, including T-SQL.
• Experience with ETL, data transformation, integration, and reconciliation.
• Familiarity with Snowflake or Databricks and Apache Airflow.
• Frontend development experience with JavaScript and React.
• Experience building and maintaining end-to-end applications.
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of data quality, numerical accuracy, and system reliability.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent technical experience.

Nice to Have

• Experience with C#/.NET and existing application maintenance.
• Knowledge of financial reporting, business intelligence, or analytical systems.
• Experience with financial calculations, data controls, and legacy system modernization.
