Description

Build and operate cloud-native AI/data platforms on AWS, including ML training, deployment, and serving. Develop backend services and data products, own the full lifecycle (architecture, coding, testing, deployment, and operations), and ensure observability, security, and compliance (including GDPR and IAM/OAuth2/JWT). Collaborate with data scientists and drive engineering best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate cloud-native AI/data platforms on AWS (S3, ECS, Lambda, SageMaker)
• Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, CDK) and CI/CD pipelines
• Develop scalable systems for ML training, deployment, and serving
• Implement backend services and data products using Python and Java
• Collaborate with data scientists to develop AI solutions
• Own the full lifecycle: architecture, coding, testing, deployment, and operations
• Ensure observability, security, and compliance (monitoring, GDPR, IAM, OAuth2/JWT)
• Drive engineering best practices and mentor team members

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in cloud/platform engineering (AWS preferred)
• Proficiency in Python
• Strong experience with IaC and modern CI/CD
• Experience building scalable services with AWS (ECS, Lambda, RDS, SageMaker) or other cloud solutions
• Good understanding of MLOps and the AI system lifecycle
• Knowledge of cloud security and data protection (GDPR)
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
• Good English and Polish communication skills
• Nice to have: AWS certifications
• Nice to have: experience with ML/data libraries
