Description

You will participate in a 10-week Forward Deployed Engineer training program focused on modern software engineering, cloud-native development, and AI-enabled customer solutions. After training (remote), you’ll deploy onsite at designated client locations and work directly with business stakeholders to design, develop, deploy, and optimize scalable applications and AI-powered solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable applications and AI-enabled solutions

• Build and consume RESTful APIs

• Develop front-end experiences using modern SPA frameworks

• Develop and deploy cloud-native backend services

• Containerize and operationalize services using DevOps practices

• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience building production-ready applications

• Strong Python fundamentals (OOP, asynchronous programming, type annotations, testing, production codebases)

• Web application development in JavaScript and/or TypeScript

• SPA UI development experience (React/Angular/Vue or similar)

• RESTful API development and consumption

• Backend framework experience (FastAPI or equivalent)

• API authentication, authorization, and data validation patterns

• SQL database experience; working knowledge of NoSQL

• Cloud development experience on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform

• Containerization (Docker) and familiarity with Kubernetes

• CI/CD pipeline experience

• Source control and collaboration using Git

• Debugging, testing, and performance optimization skills

• Exposure to LLMs and AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot/Claude/ChatGPT or similar)

• Willingness to complete the 10-week training and then work onsite in Dallas or Edison

• Work authorization to work in the United States and meet client onboarding requirements

Benefits

• Training pay: $61,000–$66,000 annually (Dallas) or $69,000–$74,000 annually (Edison)

• Project pay: $76,000–$81,000 annually (Dallas) or $84,000–$89,000 annually (Edison)
