Description

This role partners with business stakeholders, product teams, and engineers to deliver scalable, client-facing enterprise solutions in a regulated financial environment. You will lead solution architecture and hands-on implementation using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and cloud technologies, while translating business needs into deployable systems. You will also identify and integrate practical AI/ML and generative AI capabilities (including LLM APIs and RAG) into production workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy enterprise applications with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices

• Lead solution architecture, technical design, and hands-on implementation

• Translate business challenges into technical requirements and deployable solutions

• Build REST APIs, backend services, and enterprise integrations

• Diagnose complex issues across development, integration, and production

• Work directly with client teams to identify modernization and automation opportunities

• Prototype, customize, and deploy solutions quickly as business needs change

• Own delivery from discovery and architecture through implementation and deployment

• Bridge business operations, product management, and engineering

• Deliver reliable, secure, and scalable solutions in regulated financial environments

• Identify opportunities to embed AI/ML into enterprise applications

• Integrate LLM APIs, AI-powered services, and automation into Java systems

• Support AI-driven workflows for credit processing, financial operations, and decision support

• Collaborate with AI and data teams to operationalize solutions

• Evaluate generative AI, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and AI agents

Requirements

• 8+ years in enterprise software development and technical solution delivery

• Strong Java and Spring Boot experience

• Strong REST API and microservices experience

• Hands-on AWS or Azure experience and distributed systems experience

• Experience with enterprise integrations, SQL, and system architecture

• Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices

• Strong client-facing communication, ownership, and problem-solving skills
