Description

Develop and maintain scalable full-stack applications on an AWS serverless platform that support secure remote assessments, automated testing, telemetry, and data integrity. Build responsive front-end apps with React and ES6+ JavaScript, and back-end services/APIs with Node.js. Partner with an Agile team to deliver modern systems and testing solutions, including E2E browser tests, API integration tests, and chaos testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, release, and maintain full-stack applications

• Build serverless applications using AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, SNS, and SQS

• Develop responsive front-end applications using React.js and JavaScript ES6+

• Create scalable back-end services and APIs using Node.js

• Develop tools and platforms for automated test data generation

• Design and execute chaos testing

• Implement automated browser-based end-to-end testing

• Implement automated API integration testing

• Build telemetry collection and data integrity monitoring systems

• Support continuous integration testing environments

• Contribute to testing, production support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, analytical, or related field

• 5 to 7 years of professional software engineering experience

• Strong hands-on development with Node.js, JavaScript ES6+, React.js, and AWS

• Experience designing and implementing serverless applications on AWS

• Experience with AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, SNS, and SQS

• Experience developing highly scalable software applications

• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL

• Experience with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB

• Experience working on Agile engineering teams

• Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills
