Description

Build and maintain mission-critical full-stack software supporting defence and supply chain operations. You’ll design frontend interfaces, backend services and APIs, and database schemas, while integrating with complex legacy government and enterprise platforms. The role emphasizes production delivery, code quality, and mentorship within a small team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack application functionality (frontend, backend/APIs, and database models)

• Implement integrations with external legacy systems such as ERPs and government procurement interfaces

• Collaborate with forward-deployed teams to deliver production-ready, customer-driven features

• Maintain code quality through testing, documentation, and code reviews

• Support onboarding and technical development of new team members

Requirements

• Proven track record shipping to production; ownership end-to-end

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript

• Experience with at least one frontend framework (React, Svelte, Next.js, or similar)

• Strong SQL knowledge, preferably PostgreSQL; ability to design schemas and reason about data models

• Strong understanding of testing, documentation, and code review

• High accountability in fast-moving environments; reliable deadlines and clear risk communication
