Description

Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable server-side applications, APIs, and databases. Optimize performance for maximum speed and efficiency, and support seamless integration with front-end services. Collaborate across teams on requirements, troubleshoot issues, and uphold code quality through testing and code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement highly scalable, reliable, and secure backend systems and APIs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and technical specifications
• Optimize application performance for maximum speed and efficiency
• Develop database schemas and write complex queries to support business logic
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior team members on engineering best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and system issues in a timely manner
• Implement unit tests and automated testing frameworks to ensure code quality

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proven experience in backend software development building enterprise-grade applications
• Proficiency in Java and open-source backend technologies
• Strong understanding of database management systems, API development, and software design patterns
