Description

You will build scalable, asynchronous, cloud-based, event-driven back-end systems and improve system performance and scalability. You will collaborate across R&D teams and Agile SDLC practices with Front-End and Quality Assurance, maintain high code quality through detailed reviews, and use AI-powered tools to improve efficiency and support data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Engineer software development and innovative back-end builds

• Implement back-end solutions to improve performance and scalability

• Collaborate across R&D teams to refine software development processes within the SDLC

• Advance Agile practices with Front-End engineers and Quality Assurance teams

• Assure code excellence through detailed reviews

• Use AI-powered tools to improve efficiency, streamline processes, and support data-driven decision-making

• Troubleshoot and rectify complex technical challenges

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field

• 6+ years of experience as a software developer

• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot

• Openness and willingness to adapt to an AI-enabled environment (must have)

• Proficiency with NoSQL databases, especially MongoDB or equivalent experience

• Experience with SQL databases, notably Postgres (beneficial)

• Kafka and Redis proficiency is a strong asset

• Microservices architecture, reactive programming, and big data insights are highly advantageous

• Kubernetes experience is beneficial
