Role: Java Developer (backend, integrations, REST API)

Description

Design, develop, and maintain backend applications in Java. Implement new and existing features, build REST API endpoints and integrations with external systems, and write unit and integration tests. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, readability, and performance, collaborating with analysts, testers, architects, and other developers.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of Java development experience (at least Java 8)
• Experience with ORM libraries
• Experience building Java applications using relational SQL databases
• Experience building SOAP services and working with REST standards
• Experience with at least one application server: JBoss, WebLogic, or GlassFish
• Knowledge of at least one frontend technology: JSF, Angular, or Vaadin
• Programming knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes (or equivalent)
• Additionally: Spring Framework
• Additionally: JPA or ORM libraries such as Hibernate or EclipseLink
• Additionally: IntelliJ IDEA
